Ghost of Tsushima Is Among The Best Combat Games! Here’s Why

FeaturedVid Aug 23

The Action-adventure game Ghost of Tsushima was created by Sucker Punch Productions and released by Sony Interactive Entertainment in 2020. It is an absolutely breathtaking adventure through one of history’s most breathtaking places, and that magnificence is enhanced by the best blade combat system the action gaming genre has ever seen.

The story of Ghost of Tsushima is a work of fiction written with imaginary characters, but it is inspired by the actual Japanese invasion by the Mongol Empire in 1274, which started on the island of Tsushima and spread throughout the country. You play the role of Jin Sakai, who is expertly portrayed by Daisuke Tsuji. Jin Sakai begins the game as a samurai, but a devastating battle with the invaders instantly teaches you that the honourable but restrictive methods of the samurai code may not be sufficient to confront the Mongolian threat. You have the ability to change Jin Sakai’s path throughout the game.

The combats in Ghost of Tsushima are really incredible and have a magical feel to them. There is a light strike which can deal injury quickly and defeat slower strikes, there is a heavy strike that can deal further damage and therefore can break the enemy guards, there is a block icon that can defend against some of the attacks, and a dodge icon that can avoid attacks that can’t be blocked. The ability to change stance further allows you to execute a variety of different attacks with the various weapons at your disposal.

It is an amazing game that offers a compelling narrative, a stunningly beautiful island to discover that is packed with useful collectables and several daunting combats that force you to not just fight by thinking back and reflecting on your fighting style and improving it. Overall you will just love this game and if you love the combat games, then it’s a must play game for you.
